Disclosure

In one sentence

This site contains Binance referral links. Signing up through our code may qualify you for a rebate on part of your trading fees, up to 20% under Binance's referral rules; whether it applies, and the actual figure, are whatever Binance shows on its own pages at the time.

Where the referral links are

LocationHow manyForm
The referral card on the home page1A sign-up link carrying the code, with a disclosure sentence immediately below it
The sign-up article1Placed next to the sign-up step it belongs to, with the link text saying it is a referral link
Every other article, calculator, article index and site-policy page0No links carrying the code, and no buttons nudging you to sign up

Apart from those two, any exchange link on this site is a plain reference without a referral code — pointing at Binance help-centre articles or the fee schedule so you can check what we have written for yourself. Those links carry no referral code.

How we are paid

If you register through our code and later trade, we may receive a share of fees the exchange has already charged. That comes out of the exchange's side; nothing is added to your bill.

Which also means something you should know: we have an incentive for you to sign up. That is why this site is written the way it is — fee figures state where and when they were checked, worked examples show the formulas so you can redo them, and every tool explains how it calculates. You can verify what we say.

What the relationship does not change

  • We do not pretend any platform is flawless. Limits and risks get stated.
  • We do not write "guaranteed" or "risk-free" anything, and we promise no returns.
  • The calculators and explanatory articles carry no referral links and no buttons pushing you towards signing up.

What this relationship is not

TOFEV is an independently operated English-language practice guide. It is not the Binance website, and it has no affiliation, agency or authorisation relationship with Binance. We are not an exchange, we hold no one's funds, and we give no investment advice.

Anyone asking you for account details, passwords, codes, recovery phrases or funds in our name is not us.

How the links are marked

Links carrying the referral code are flagged to search engines as paid links, and open in a new tab so the page you were reading stays open. In the link text itself we say plainly that it is a referral link — we avoid the word "partnership", which would suggest a commercial relationship that does not exist.

Risk, and the rules where you live

Crypto asset prices can swing sharply in either direction, and you can lose part or all of the money you put in; practising on demo first does not change that once real money is involved. Rules on exchanges, and on promoting them, also differ from one country or region to the next: some places restrict or prohibit certain products or services, so check what applies where you live before signing up. The full risk notice goes into more detail.

If anything here looks inconsistent with what you see on the site, tell us.
